Tests and Teddy Bears

Feb 20, 2006 11:07

So I have a test tomorrow... I'm going to be studying most of today. I studied some on the weekend and will be working exercises all day ... Blah.

I have a new little friend. His name is Xavier, and he is the teddy bear that Chris & I built at Build-a-bear workshop. Chris bought him for me for valentines day. He's really soft and very cute! :) We could have bought clothes for him, but none of them really seemed to look right on him, so we decided he was much more cuddly without them :)

Things are going well, my stress levels are back down to a manageable level, and classes are fine.

My students had their first test last Thursday. I'm now wondering how many of them are going to drop. I had 8 F's. But I also Had 6 A's, 9 B's, 7 C's, and 5 D's. So 23% of the class failed, but that means 77% pasted. I have had a real problem with these students not doing their homework, so maybe those who haven't been applying themselves will either drop or get a fire under their butt! Enough about my students.

Hmm... what else... Spring break is in 3 weeks! yay. Hopefully I will get to see all of you that I haven't seen in a while :)

Oh, Chris might be able to get a better position at work than even originally thought since one of the managers has given their two weeks notice, and some of what they do is what Chris has been doing and training in. Plus when he can be hired on as a Fowler full-time employee pretty much coincides with when the other girl is leaving. SO we can all pray for that.

I guess that's all for now.
