I got my family I'm living with in Italy! Their last name is Buscema, and they have three kids aged 20, 17, and 7. It seems so much more real now, like I can't believe I'm actually DOING this. I'm so so excited though. It's ridiculous... I'm leaving exactly two weeks from today. I will miss everyone so much but I think this will be a really good experience.
Right now though, as it happens, I'm still here and I still have a shit load of work to do before the year wraps up. So off I go to write my philosophy of education....
