So, Gap is having this holiday weekend sale where all sale items are an additional 25% off. Add my 30% employee discount to that, and it equals good times for Gina. We all know I love getting nice stuff dirt cheap, so I'll list some of the highlights here:
Jelly-like sandals
Originally: $16.50
I paid: $2.09
Two cami's, grey and green
Originally: $19.50 each
I paid: $2.61 each
Woven tote bag for Regis
Originally: $39.50
I paid: $7.87
And the funniest...
Knit flower lapel pin
Originally: $7.50
I paid: $0.09
Hahahaha. I don't think I've ever paid nine cents for something. In addition to the above listed items, I also got a Gap Kids white-with-rainbow-accents zip-up hoodie of which I fit comfortably into an XXL, an 80s style kids flashlight, and a pretty gauze cami. All dirt cheap of course.
So tomorrow I work 11-4, which won't be too bad because I'm scheduled to be in Kids/Baby, and time will go fast because it's sure to be crazy busy with the sale and the holiday weekend and all. Then I load up the animals and head home for a few days. Jon and I are going to Sal e Carvao for dinner, which I'm really excited about because It looks reeeeally good. I think it's probably super expensive too, but Jon says that's okay, so I'm trying to just be excited and not feel bad about it. Then after dinner we'll probably go by Regis' mom's house and visit the hamster babies! And probably bring a cage for Pfeffernuesse too, since he had be be removed from the normal cage due to risk of baby-eating and whatnot.
I don't know what I'm going to do about that either... initially, the whole hamster thing worked out because mine and Regis' could be cage-mates, and she could take them home on breaks and whatnot. But now that Clark and Pfeffernuesse have to be separated so we don't have this whole baby situation again, I don't know what I'm going to do with Pfeffernuesse (and most likely one of the little boy babies we'll keep to be his new cage-mate). I can't bring him home on breaks and stuff, and I'm certainly not going to inundate Jon with yet another animal to care for when I'm home. So we'll see... I might have to just give him away. :(
On a lighter note, I'm drinking lemonade and I must be really over-zealous about it because I've spilled it down my shirt twice already.
Annyways. Off to pack then go to bed.
