your thursday update
The semester is going well! Just in case anyone was worried. :)
I like all my classes, got back into the right band, and I even get Keeble lessons for the first half of the semester. Which makes me feel better about life in general.
Good things about classes are:
-I got to buy a recorder for DeNardo's general music class!
-Choral conducting is fun... we watch videos of little vocal cords opening and shutting
-I randomly joined choir and it's soooo fun. Except I'm still trying to get a hang of singing in German when I generally have trouble singing in English
-We're singing (in English!) "Bridge Over Troubled Water," which is one of my favorite songs
-Despite having 8 am classes/observing (eventually) at 8 am every day, I always have at least one or two free mid-day hours
-Hence... I get to watch TLC daytime TV while I'm eating lunch! :)
-I get to re-learn saxophone
Other randomly good things include having my car here for random shopping trips, buying a pretty shelf for my room, and actually having time to practice!
So yes. All is well in Gina World.
Oh, and shameless plug: if you're not doing anything at 7:30 pm on March 11th, come to my recital. :)
