There aint nothing wrong with a little Bump and Grind
Yayy so yesterday was my daddy's birthday and we went out for dinner. Much fun! I love going out to dinner with my family. My dad was telling me old stories about him and my grandparents and the rest of my family. I just love hearing those..and its just so inspiring to see how strong my parents were when they immigrated to Canada. My family background is Russain, and when my parents left Russia, it was still a communist country. The only reason I mention this, is because they werent allowed to bring ANYTHING out of the country except $100. ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS FOR A WHOLE FAMILY TO SURVIVE ON! How crazy is that? At the rate im going, I dont think I could survive on $100 just for me. I really started admiring my parents after that..and seeing how hard they worked and how much they had to go through to make it to Canada and to give their children (me) a better life. It just really surprised me cuz I never looked at them in that sort of "idolizing" way. Maybe im growing up and becoming more mature..who the hell knows!
Today was a pretty laid back day..nothing special happened..Which isnt always a bad thing. Id rather having nothing happen then have bad things goin on right? Parent/teacher night is coming up in a few weeks and im scared for my mom to talk to my Psychology teacher. Ive been kind of slacking off on homework, but for projects and tests I really *DO* try..but I cant freakin impress her with my work no matter what I do. It's so annoying :(
Lastly, I wanna thank Alan for the magazines. You're such a sweetheart :P
