Finally something to update about
Here is another one of my rare updates. I just figured it was good enough to put on here. Stephen got his orders yesterday...I got a call from him yesterday evening. On December 2nd, 2004, Stephen, Wynter and I will depart the United States of America to live in the United Kingdom for a period of 3 years. So I get to go drink tea and eat crumpets!!! LMAO. Yeah..that's the lighter side to it. I've only got a little over 3 months to have fun before I have to start worrying about moving and stuff. Truth be told...I'm a little depressed. The very few, true friends that I have here...I'm going to be leaving and not seeing for 3 years. It's...a shock. It just so happened that I was out with Kristen when he called me. Good thing she was there...if she weren't I would've crawled into a little ball and been depressed.
It's not that I'm not HAPPY to be going. I mean..c'mon! How many people have that change to travel like that?! I'm REALLY REALLY happy! And we'll be closer to Ireland and stuff....we could take a trip to Ireland. :-D I always wanted to go there and see all the castles and stuff. It's just...still a shock. I haven't crawled into the fetal position to cry my eyes out yet...so I dun think it's fully hit me. I just...it's hard. BUT...as long as we're together, Stephen and I, I'll be happy. I told him that... but I don't think he believes me. He just has to understand...this is a BIG HUGE change for me. England?! I mean..c'mon! I never thought I'd be moving to England. I always dreaded being stuck in Jersey for the rest of my life...but now that I look back on it...I'm really going to miss this place...and all it's crazy drivers...lol. And...all the good people I met here. I'll miss you all. BUT..its not like I'm dying or anything...so I'll try to keep updating this journal while I'm in England too. And..no..i don't think I'll get to visit the Palace over there for quite some time...it's quite a drive from where we'll be stationed..lol. Anyway...I should get going. I want to find a place to buy some boxes so I can start boxing up the stuff I don't really use. Better to start now right? lol.
