1st Day of Maternity Leave
Soooo today's the first day of my matenity leave. I'm glad but then again I'm also boooored. Its not so bad till Jay has to go to work. Oh well. I got two baby presents yesterday at work ^__^ So sweet. One from a co-worker and the other from a regular customer. I was very touched.
Jay came and picked me up from work and was all excited. Come to find out, Angie (his dad's gf) had bought us a travel system and a bag full of baby clothes! The little stroller and infant seat are sooo forkin' cute - little apples all over them. She's such a sweetie. It was so cute how stoked he was too.
He's actually been getting into the "baby spirit" the past week as a matter of fact (bout friggin time). He's been kissing and rubbing my belly and cooing and loving on me all the time. It's awesome! lol
I think everything is finally starting to feel more real for him. We got the painting done in the nursery, got all that storage junk moved out, got the crib put together, changing table got put together today, and then last night being my last night at work... I think the picture is finally being drawn for him. (and I'll try to post pics of the nursery soon - too tired today...)
We've been trying to spend more time together too though, so that may be helping him alot. We cuddled on the couch all day and watched The Blind Side till he went to work.
And this is totally random and off topic but our friggin vacuum cleaner crapped out on me today - pissed me off - have to rant just a bit. GRR.
