Participate in Breast Cancer Research - It's EASY!

I just recently learned about Army of Women , a call to women all over the nation to participate in breast cancer research; the goal of the organization is for one million women to enroll. All you have to do is go to the website and register. Once you do that they will notify you of studies in your locality. The studies would ask for tissue, blood and/or urine samples.

This is such an easy thing to do and requires very little effort on your behalf. Dr. Susan Love has organized this effort and is well known for her pioneering efforts in this branch of science. Her progressive, creative thinking has often met with criticism only to be later embraced by the scientific community at large.

Here are two video clips from the Today Show that I urge you to watch. You will learn a little about what we *currently* know about breast cancer and some of it is surprising. I learned some new things and the chances are that you will, too.
