A Long-Awaited Update
Sorry, I've been re-watching LoTR, extended DVD editions. But anyway...
I moved back to my parents' house in Westchester, am applying for graduate school full time, and just got a job at Starbucks. Things are...interesting, but getting better than they were. The wedding has been pushed back until after I graduate with my master's degree, so there is no definate date as of yet. This is a short post because...I'm in your library, borrowing your wireless. ;) (Sorry for the cat macro there, but it fit so well.) Heading out to pick up fresh, locally grown corn for dinner (YUM!), and then spend some time with my dad. Weird, I know, but he built this little gym in what used to be an old ice house (I'll post pics another time...it's totally cool), and he invited me yesterday to use the stationary bike while he's on the treadmill. Being more active is good for me, and it's surprisingly enjoyable, considering I prefer my bikes non-stationary. With my bike out of commission, however (more about that later as well), this is what I've got. And working out with my father, while a little odd, makes for some bizarre sort of "quality time". For one thing, we're both too out of breath to argue. ;) We even agreed on a TV station.
Well, now that everyone who knows me and my father has recovered from that little heart attack, I'll say bye for now. fireun, give me a call when you get to Arizona, please. Hugs for all!
