Whoa!! I am back
So after I don't know how many months of not being able to post, I finally am ready and set to go. ComCast came out today to install cable and internet for which I am very grateful. My new TV couldn't get any of the local channels without it....well maybe if I wanted to get an antennae, but who wants that?? So, Christmas was good...New Year's sucked, kinda. I wound up at North Pointe solo because myself and two friends we didn't have the $40 per person it would cost to get in. I really wanted to go and talk to this bar tender so they gave me there money and I went. I should have known better. The crowd was...well, not the usual. It took too long to get in, and once I got in it took even longer to get a drink. I can't even tell you how many times my ass was grabbed by guys who thought that I wouldn't know the difference since it was wall to wall people. Not that my outfit helped much (for those of you that go out with me you know what I mean) I finally made it to the bar and was able to talk to my "friend" for a second. He did get my number before I left though. Since my friends left I had to find a ride home, which I hoped would have been different that it was. A friend of a friend took me home, which was fine, just not what I expected. I went home, fell asleep and that was that....oh, I forgot to mention that I was sick the whole time....not sick from alcohol, but like flu sick, and I have been ever since. Although I don't let that stop me from going out. I just rest up the night before and all day of, party like a rock star and then rest for a day or two after.
So, speaking of partying and what not, last Saturday was the bachelorette party for one of my friends...we had a great time! We went to On the Rocks and they played awesome dance music. We got down and funky to MC Hammer and Salt 'N Peppa.....it was great!! Of course they played new stuff too.
At the end of the night I found out that one of my friend's had given my name a nd number to a guy that she was getting friendly with on the floor. You see she has a boyfriend...for her it's all a game. Anyway, I made the mistake of thinking that it was fine since guys usually don't call. Boy was I wrong, both the guy she gave my number to and the guy I gave my number to called the next day! I had no idea what to say. It is all very ironic, of all the calls I got most were from people I don't know and don't want to talk to, but the one person I am dying to hear from hasn't called back. What a world!! So now to today, I have been sick still and tried to rest and recuperate all day. It is back to work tomorrow so I can make some money...gotta support my going out habit. Hopefully there will be a repeat of the bachelorette party soon. We decided to make Amanda wear the veil next time....not b/c she is getting married anytime soon...oh no...but because you get a lot of attention when guys think you are getting married. Man, what a crazy fucked up world we live in....and people wonder why the divorce rate is so high. Ok, enough of that...the Nyquil is about to kick in and I have to be up early, so for now goodnight...until next time my friend....since I only have one that will probably take the time to read all this.
