Hey whoever is reading this. I haven't updated in a while so i just thought that i would. Man this week has really been something.
First there was the ffa convention trip. That was held at Purdue University. And it was really great. We left on Monday. We were supposed to leave around 10:00 but we didn't get to leave till around 12:00. LOL We had some problems getting even a mile away from the school. Well before we left we all went up to the summer school rooms to make faces at the ppl who were in there. Well mostly at craig bcuz he was supposed to go with us but he couldn't. It would have been great having him there. But yeah. After that we decided to take the new bus bcuz the last time we took the old bus the damn thing broke down when we were coming home from national convention. so yea. But as we were leaving school to go to Ashleigh’s house to get some games we discovered that the bus was leaking around the emergency exit. so that wasn't good at all. We didn’t' really mind that but then we discovered that it didn’t' have a cd player and none of us liked that. Well when we got to Ashleigh’s house the bus started to leak on Cherie and that is when she said that we had to go get the other bus. And we were ok with that, except the whole fact that we had to move all of our shit to the other bus. And there was a lot of stuff bcuz all four girls over packed. But it was ok. We got all of our stuff moved and then Cherie went to start the bus and what happened? Absolutely nothing. The key would turn over but nothing came on. So we all had to go up to tell Mr. Crisp. We had to wait for Bill to jump the bus so that took a lil while. And after that we were finally on our way to Purdue.
Well we stopped at Edinburgh to shop and to eat. We ate at Arby's which i loved. Cuz i love Arby's. Well i had to go to the bathroom so i went and the toilet was broken and there was no sign or nothing. So it stared to overflow into the next stall. And it was really funny, But it wasn't my fault. After that we went and shopped around. Randal didn’t' really like that but he dealt with it and didn’t' whine to much. After shopping for about an hour we were on our way again.
Finally we got to the hotel in Lafayette. We stayed at The Hampton which was really nice and just across the parking lot was Wal-Mart. The hotel has a hot tub and a indoor pool. It was awesome. Most of the time that we were at the hotel I was swimming. And then we went to the mall up in Lafayette. It was huge, Like 3 times the size of the green tree mall. Then we ate at Applebee’s. That was really good. After all of that we went back to the hotel and went swimming again and went to sleep.
Tuesday we had to be at Purdue pretty early in the morning so we all got up and got ready. We had to be on campus to go to a session. Which was kinda boring but ok. Then we went shopping at the mall again. Tuesday night there was a dance but we didn’t’ go to it becuz we thought that it would be boring so we just went back to the hotel and went swimming.
Wednesday we had to get up again and go to another session. It wasn’t as good as the first one but, if you have ever been to one then you should know that none of them are really that great. After the session cherie, randol and Ashleigh went to do something, and me and anna sat outside under a tree. We were talking on the phone to buster and these two guys walked by and hit on us. They were ugly though. So then they started to follow us and it was just scary. I hate it when ppl follow me cuz it freaks the shit out of me. After all of that we went back to the hotel and went swimming and then we went out to eat.
Wednesday was prolly the funniest day except for Monday. On Wednesday we had to get up about the same time. Which I was used to by then. And it wasn’t that bad cuz Lafayette is an hour behind us. Wednesday we didn’t’ have to be in official dress for every long so we went to the session and then we went to find someplace to change our clothes and we went to run through one of the fountains that was on campus. That was really fun and really cold. Our title for running through the fountains is, “we came, we ran, we froze.” You wouldn’t believe how cold it really was. After all of that we went to the hotel and went to eat. We ate at Lone star steakhouse. The food was ok. But I accepted it becuz the chapter paid for it. So it was free for me which was really good becuz I didn’t have that much money left. After we got done eating we all went to play lunar putt putt golf. It was really fun even though I lost. But it was cool. Then we went back to the hotel and everyone was in mine anna, and ashleigh’s room so I left and talked on my cell phone, becuz I didn’t’ feel like being around them at all. So I talked to Kayla and buster on the phone. I went down to the exercise room and to the pool area. So I decided that I wanted to get into the hot tub so I went back upstairs and changed into my swim suit and without anyone knowing I went to get into the hot tub. And while I was in there I was talking to Kayla and this old guy kept walking past and looking at me. So I got out and went back upstairs. Before I went to sleep I had to pack becuz we had to get all of our things on the bus and check out of the hotel becuz we had to go to a session and we didn’t know what time we would be able to leave that.
On Thursday we got up and got all of our shit packed onto the bus and then we went to the session. After that we changed and went to take our pictures in front of the frogs that all over Lafayette. It was fun. After that we were on our way home. We got home around 6 becuz we had to stop so Cherie could sleep so we would actually get home.
And that is basically the ffa convention trip. It may not sound all that fun but it really was.
So I haven’t been back that long and I haven’t gotten to talk to really that many ppl.
But I think that I am gonna end this cuz its really long and prolly boring as all hell. So bye byes
