Round 3 of CNY Shopping!
To me, CNY certainly does not feels like CNY without a trip to Chinatown (& Taka CNY bazaar). With only 1.5 weeks to CNY, we decided to head down to Chinatown today to soak in the festive atmosphere. But before that, it was off to Ang Mo Kio first to get bak kwa for our families.
According to Hubby, this brand is quite popular and taste good too. The price is quite reasonable at $45/kg. I had expected it to be at least $48 or $50/kg already.
We thought that we could avoid the massive crowd by going early but boy, we were so wrong. The streets were already super crowded though it was only 3.30pm.
I love this year's CNY decor items as there are many that feature Bugs Bunny and the Loony Tunes family.
So this year, our home will be all decked out with Bugs Bunny's stuff =).
Tomorrow will be another tiring day as we will be starting on our spring clean.
