What do you think of Sarah Silverman? I know Americans think she's hilarious but I just don't get it. Is it a cultural thing how I miss her humour or is she just not funny?

I really like her face and her voice, and she was really good on Larry Sanders.

I don't know much about her stand up, but I've heard she's very dirty. Perhaps unnecessarily so.

I must see it, so I'll be able to make an informed decision. I hope I don't get embarrassed when watching it.

I've only seen her stand up, yes it was dirty and tota\lly unecessary because it didn't make it any funnier, just embarrassingly bad. All her jokes were about being a Jewish princess and her grandmother dying, or something. I just didn't find her funny at all. Actually, she was so irritating I wanted to slap her!

So, who do you recommend? Who do you think is funny?

For stand up I love Dylan Moran, otherwise I like surreal, silly comedy like the Mighty Boosh, or darker a bit cruel comedy always makes me laugh.
