Summer
Ok, well I did finally decide which class to take this summer for term A:
Clowning and Combat with Jim Harbor.
It was a two week class where we learned clown techniques, stage combat, and juggling. It was a blast!!!!!Last night was our final performance.
We had to perform a:
Death Scene
Clown duo scene
Clown solo scene
and combat scene
I also had to juggle. No, I never really got the hang out it. :(
Out of all of the techniques that I learned, I enjoyed the stage combat the most. I got to "beat the hell out of my fighting partner'!!! It was so much fun.
I'm rather exhaused from the class but it was well worth it. I now have three weeks left before my final class of the summer begins. In the mean time, I'll be working and helping out at the costume shop.
In addition, I got a small role in the play that I wanted to try out for. I'm really glad that I decided to face my fear of failure and audition for the play. My audition went really well and I would have gotten a larger role if it were not for the fact that I was not part of the class. I'm really happy that I get to be apart of it this summer and work with Gary Dartt. He's great!
Anyway, Bob and I are doing really well and I am enjoying his company this summer. He's so much fun to hang out with. I really love him. I'm glad that we are back together. I mean, I was really happy single for awhile but I guess I'm the kind of girl who can adapt to her situation.
Ok, I said enough, I've gotta go shower so I can meet some friends for dinner.
