So this morning Jeff went back down to talk to the temp agency. Turns out that this guy is really interested in hiring Jeff. He'd work for a place that supplies studios around LA/Hollywood with equipment and parts and Jeff would be a driver delivering stuff and getting to meet people at the studios. It's 12 dollars an hour, temp-to-hire, and M-F 8-5pm. Perfect right? So we're all excited cause it sounds like this guy is really interested in Jeff and we're just overall happy.
But of course, there's always a catch right? The truck that Jeff would be required to drive is a stick. And of course, Jeff can't drive a stick shift. So now we're waiting to hear back from the temp agency, who said they'd call right back and it's been almost 2 hours.
I just don't fucking get how nothing ever works out right for us! Why everything has to have a catch, it makes me so freaking angry. Why can't something go right for once? We deserve a break, we deserve a lead, just something that's gonna get our future going. But our future weighs in on what kinda car you can drive. Nice aye?
Anyways, onto other news, I lost another 1.6 pounds this week. Techinically when you look at your home scale I've lost 10 pounds total because home scales usually don't have the points, but when you look at a points one, I've lost 9.4. I still have another 11-12 pounds before I reach my percent of body weight goal, so I've got a little while to go yet. Then once I reach 21% of my body weight lost, I can start shooting for my own personal goal which will probably be another 40-50 pounds from there. I'm excited for the future, I just hope I can lose at least 30 pounds by Jeff's sister's wedding cause I have to wear a nice dress.
Went to Costco and stocked up on stuff. Got a huge value pack of pork chops and freezed them in sections of two. 5 dinners for 15 bucks man, not bad. 5 dinners that feed two people! And the serving sizes are perfect to what I have to have at Weight Watchers, so that's nice.
I finished "Goblet of Fire" - yay! It's my favorite book, hands down of the series (probably top 5 of my fave books of all time as well). Though I just started "Order of the Phoenix," so who knows, but it's my fave so far. I enjoyed that book so much. It made me laugh and cry and it was just an amazing adventure. I seriously cannot wait for the movie. I'm gonna have to re-read it though next summer to get prepared for the movie next November.
Jeff told me last night there's a Special Edition DVD set of "Bambi" coming out in March because they're doing a theatrical release of Bambi 2, which is suppose to be a big deal - ?? I dunno. Mulan comes out I think next month on Special Edition, and then Aladdin in October and then Mary Poppins and I think Lilo and Stitch - both special edition - by the end of the year. Lotsa DVD's!! Then in the theatre, there's Sky Captain next month (Sept. 17), Sharktale (Oct.), Alexander (November), and then a ton of movies like Oceans Twelve and such that I'm really excited about.
Well I think that's it for now. Might be back later, who knows. TTYL :-D
