Thanks for everyone who gave me good luck wishes *muuuah!* You guys rock.
So I got the job at Audiences Unlimited. I'm really excited cause it looks like once I'm done training it will be a fun job. The only problem is, just next week alone I'm only working 8 hours, at minimum wage, AND they deduct $18.75 out of your first four paychecks as a desposit for the uniform you get after your first 60 days of training. You get the total of $75 back when you quit and return the uniform looking the way it was when you got it. But it sucks, cause for the next four paychecks I'll only get like $30 or something like that. And while in training I have to wear a white dress shirt, tie, slacks and black shoes, so I have to go out and spend another like $60 or whatever to buy an outfit. So I won't break even for like two months lol. SO anyways I'm gonna see how the next few weeks go and if I pick up any more hours, if I don't I'm going to go try and find a part time job at like the mall or something to get some more money in. I guess $30-$50 a week is more than I have right now, but shit, come on!
Anyways the job will be great experience and exposure. I get to work award shows which I'm super-duper excited about. She said that they're now doing this thing where they're assigning pages to specific celebrities and then you're like their assistant for the entire night at the award shows. Like to the bathroom, to here, to there, whatever. Nice huh? Oh and my boss loves N Sync, she had a pic of her and Lance on her desk haha :-)
Something cool...a girl I interned with at "On Air" is working for them too, so she put me with her next Friday on the taping of "2 and a half men." I work on "Will and Grace" on Tuesday.
So anyways, ideas where I can work part time on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday?? Ideas, anyone?? lol. I'd like to make a decent amount of money wherever it is to make up for the income I'm losing working for Audiences. Kathy, think that she'd use a TA on 3/5 days? lol, yeah I no I doubt it too, but I HAD to ask lol.
So for now this will work out, hopefully by April when the season ends I will have more things lined up and start moving forward.
So Jeff has tonight off and then Thursday and Friday, I'm so excited, he never has two days in a row off!! So tomorrow I have to go close out my Bank of America accounts (they fucking suck there at B of A), get my car washed, and do some other errands. I now have to go shopping for my temporary training uniform. Ooo Ross and Kohls, here I come lol.
