I'm so irritated. I went for the Vons interview and I waited an hour. Once I finally got in there she said that the only thing they had available was a bagger (which is fine with me accept...), and that they get paid only 6.75 and hour, but they HAVE to join the union. In joining the union (or you lose your job), you have to pay a $300 intiation fee and then an extra $10 a week out of your pay check to just belong. You don't get benefits until a year later. So if I paid them the 300 now and then 10 a week, and they're only offering about 16 hours a week...I'd be making no money!! And why pay into the union when this would only be temp until I found a real job with my degree? Why pay into them when in a year I don't care if I have benefits cause I prolly won't be there?
I'm so fucking pissed off right now. I'm either over qualified or qualified for a job and I STILL can't find one. I've completely had it with this job thing. I am just ready to have a nervous breakdown over this bullshit. DAMMMITTTT!!!!!!!!
