the photo dept. field trip to NYC was successful. no rain, and great exhibitions by diane arbus, larry clark, uta barth, as well as a bunch of more obscure artists at galleries in chelsea. i bought a bubble gun that is only semi-functional, but a) it was made in china. b) it was $5. c) it was sold to me by a middle aged black lady with no front teeth. so i guess it's expected.
the girls wanted to party last night, so i assumed the position of designated driver, and drove them to old city. we partied at our buddy mike's place (which was SUPER nice by the way). they got really drunk, and i just hung out and watched the party happen. note to self: when we throw a party, get everyone good and drunk, then proceed to play bohemian raphsody. a hit everytime. i really wish i had a tape recorder.
