Dying a wig? Not as fun as it sounds.

The flash makes the wig look a lot more blue-ish and washed out than it really is. This is before it's cut.
Aaaaaand after. You can tell what a difference having the flash off made.
Oh yeah, that's Maxim.
The mess after I made the wig dye. 32 oz. of 70% rubbing alcohol and 10 black sharpies.
All dyed.
SO much better. Now it just needs a magenta-y tint. Although it could still need a second coat of the black dye. I need to rinse it and let it dry before I'll know for sure.
Then I decided to take a picture of myself un-Maxim-ified. I'm WAY too much of a ham. You could roast me up and serve me for Christmas dinner.
And I'll post the picture that I posted in the comments of my last entry so that everyone can see. Maxim claws! Er, claw. I made the claws using some extra long fake nails, filed them to a point, roughed them up, use a scissor blade to make ridges, then painted the underside of the bottom half with a pale purple nail polish.
Whew! I think I'm going to work on my cape while the wig dries.
