Costume spam
Well, I didn't get all the stuff done that I wanted to but I did get into what I have of the costume (sans makeup) and took some MAJOR pictures! Maxim fangirls, have your bibs ready and stand near your fainting couches.

OMG that hat, let me tell you. It wasn't easy. I was just going to buy any old wide-brimmed hat and spray paint it purple because I couldn't find anything that even remotely resembled what I needed in the right color.
Then, as a last little look-see just in case I'd missed something, I did a random search for purple hats in general, ignoring the styles. I had to search through several pages before I found...

And at $11 I bought it almost the instant I found it. The only thing that delayed me was I had to put on a wig and measure around my head to make I was buying the right size.

I will have no trouble whatsoever snapping at people who touch The Hat Of Perfectness. And Brooke (who is going as Agatha) says she'll take great delight in thwapping it off my head at random moments. After which I WILL make a scene and start yelling at people and baring my fangs. And then Brooke will go all ANGRY-MAD-GIRL on me and I'll go *meep* O_O ... "yes meestress!"
Oh yeah. We have it all planned out. ^^

I made a magneto outfit one time (to go with the rogue, snicker); i remember what a pain that helmet and the collar were. i learned a lot about liquid latex, lol.

Geez, I wish! When I'm enjoying myself at Con even I sometimes have trouble remembering to take pictures. I wish I had someone going with me who wasn't dressing up and was an avid photographer. One of my previous boyfriends was just that and I went with him to Con one year. He took SO many pictures! I wasn't dressed up at the time, though.
