I be back! *sigh* So I didn't get any pictures of myself in my costume but I would be more than willing to get back into it and have one of my roommates take pictures so I can show you guys. No worries.
Actually, I didn't really get that many pictures period. Damon managed to convince me to completely miss the masquerade so we could go to some party his friends were holding. *GASP* I know, shocker. Me allowing myself to be dragged away from my beloved masquerade and Damon enthusiastic about a social event. And I forgot my camera on the first day of con because I brought my costume and my bag was so full of junk. I'm really kicking myself for it because I got to see James McAvoy and Brenden Fraser doing panels and didn't have my freaking camera with me! Argh.
I present Steve Carell and Anne Hathaway!
And yeah, that's it. I fail.
Hopefully I'll be more productive at ComiCon.
ETA: Steve Carell is HILARIOUS. He just talks and people fall over laughing. Seriously. And a really nice guy! He kept saying really sweet things that made Anne Hathaway blush and cover her face with her hands. It was adorable. The way he talks about other people is just so charming and sweet.
And Anne is so nice and beautiful and sweet! If I were a man or a lesbian I'd be in love with her. In fact, I think I might be in love with her anyway. She's probably the least celebrity-stereotypical celebrity I got to see at con. It was quite refreshing and eye-opening to get to see her.
James McAvoy is SO entertaining to watch. Just watching him talk is so fun and engaging. He has a very wide variety of facial expressions and he uses every one of them all the time. He also makes funny noises and crazy hand gestures when he talks. He's also amazingly humble and tries so hard to be accepted.
Brenden Fraser is a TALKER! He can just go on and on and on. He's so serious when he talks, too. It's like he's putting every ounce of concentration into the topic. And he WILL NOT break eye contact with the person he's talking to! Kind of creepy, actually, lol. He talks really slowly too, almost as if he doesn't want a single word to be missed. Then every now and then he'll break his serious face and just let out a really big laugh. What a quirky guy!
And d00d! Peter Mayhew is just overwhelming to see in person. I never got to see him stand up but he was in this little teeny chair and even then his head came up to my shoulders. And his hands are HUGE! He could like cover my face with his palm. And he totally loves Chewbacca. There was just Chewbacca EVERYTHING surrounding him. He embraces that character more than I've ever seen any actor embrace any other character.
