Staring at the screen...
I'm really awake right now. I really should go to bed because my shift starts at 8:30 tomorrow but I'm just not that sleepy. Maybe I'll read for a bit. That usually works.
I'm going to attempt to get Christmas Eve and Christmas day off. They'll want me to work just like everyone else but I'm going to make the excuse that my entire family lives 4 hours away and if I don't get these two days off I'll be spending Christmas completely alone. I'll also be willing to work two extra days to make up for it, ahead of time, too. Let's hope the schedulers have compassion. And let's hope that me calling in all those days to fill in shifts helps too. Most of the schedulers know me by name already just because of that.
