Oh man, I love May Day. You just walk around, smell hamburgers on the grill, walk in the sun, see tons of people, and just have an amazing day. Honestly, it's the kind of day where you know you have exams starting Monday, but it's okay b/c IT'S MAY DAY!! I'm sorry, I should be referring to it as Spring Fling. Megan, I almost got a shot of our campus crush, but it was too blurry, but my friend told me that if the opportunity comes up, she'll help me out.
There are so many crazy things to do here! Amy and I rode the mechanical bull, we totally held our own, too and got great pics. We also did the human fly wall, where you wear velcro and jump and land on a wall. The push was awesome, college boys dressing in ridiculous outfits pushing each other around the Pine Grove in shopping carts, who doesn't love that? The durfee boys did theirs like they were sitting on the toilet with a paper. It was great. This is just another reason, of many, why Hope College is where it's at.
Tonight is Pamela's Prayer with the small group. YUS! "Dear God, thank you for my daddy." Oh Chester the Molester, I can't wait to spend an hour with you and your lovely daughter, Pamela, who clearly should have won an Oscar that year. I wonder what the OScar equivalent for lame Christian films would be, the Fishies?
I also talked to Thomas today for about 20 min, he told me that I'm very witty. He also said that he doesn't know what he's going to do in the fall b/c he didn't pass the colorblind test (yeah, he's actually colorblind), so he'll never be eligible to be an officer. haha, he said his mom is always nagging him to contact me, too. She says that he needs to "commit". Oh Peggy Butera, you're a gem. Too bad I'm not too interested in your manwhore alcholic "Music is my religion, not God" son anymore. He's spending the summer at a boys camp in Texas. He said he's going to whip those boys into shape, can you imagine leaving your children in the hands of Thomas Butera for 8 weeks? I think I can, but I would think twice about it.
Alright, well.....I need to close the Art building so I can continue to enjoy Spring Fling. Adios muchachos.
