So, Dana asked me to update more, which, actually, is a plea I get frequently. Oh well suckahs, I usually feel like I have nothing to say. Sorry dude. The camera is still MIA. Shed a tear for me, I'll try and catch it and add it to my own collection. Ew, sorry, that was weird.
I am at work right now after a semi-long morning. My midterm was cancelled for Theory, which was AWESOME!! I mean, I was prepared for it, but it's still nice to have some more time to study. I went to Chapel and Prof Wolthius spoke about a dream of his to be involved in mission work and teaching children of missionaries and how God can use us in different aspects of missions. I definitely started thinking about how I could learn sign language and go teach in Jamaica. I don't know, there's so much with education and missions that I can do. I've never really thought about it like this before. I always felt like my passion for ministries and my love for teaching music were going to have to be two seperate entities. But that's totally not true. Two enthomusicologists came in and spoke at the convocation a few weeks ago about how they spread the Word through the songs of the people that they minister to through missions. How cool is that? I mean, it's like my two worlds colliding, only for a greater and common good. Like by them forming into one, this could create a whole new way of life and approach to everything that I love. Don't get me wrong, I long to teach music, and I definitely feel God calling me to that, but this just creates more options.
Fantasia was last weekend, it was a vair cool time. All of the Voorhees Ladies were looking mighty hot. Like I told my friends, there are about two times a semester when I shower, shave my legs, put on make-up, and do my hair all in one day, and Fantasia is one of them. My other time this semester was when I went to the Hibachi place w/ John Gould, so he should feel fortunate that the fruits of my labors were so that his Fraternity brothers could be impressed by his date. However, I may have to do it again this Sunday, but I haven't decided if I am going to Beaumont's Oscar party (where dress is formal- to those who know). Even if I do go, I'm not going to promise getting all purty.
Let's see, I am now at work, and I have to pee like a running horse. So yea, enjoy the weekend everyone!! If you don't, I'll come and fart on you (and ask Cami or Emily, my gas has been out of control lately!!)
