I am doing REALLY well in my class and only have a few more requirements till I am DONE for EVER with school...I only have to turn in a survey (easy, basically feedback on the course and material, and only worth 3% of my grade) and one more part of the group project and then a personal contributions to the group project report. So far I have gotten 95's and 100's on everything, and have been the leader in my group.
Another nice thing happened today. I arrived home to find a package on my mailbox, It was Gina's writing..so I rushed in to open it and found a beautiful card, some incredible smelling coffee, the Twilight book (used, YAY! I <3 used books), a set of travel mugs, and a beautiful charm, that had an angel on one side and "There's an angel watching over you" on the other. I cried, but only for a minute. Jack was home and he hugged me. Gina and I talk about our angels frequently and how they are looking out for us and are proud of how strong we are. I am feeling stronger, and loved...its hard, and every day this month has been a challenge, but I am doing okay, surprisingly.
And a third nice thing is....I may actually be close to starting to do photography FOR REAL on the side. I am trying to get people who want family portraits or engagement portraits or senior portraits done, have a few people interested, and am getting some equipment. I hope to pick up some lights and a white background from ebay soon. Maybe with my next mileage check? I took some pictures this weekend of waterfalls near ithaca, and am quite pleased with them. I am going to do the first few sets of portraits for free, just to get practice and will give the people them on CD's, complete with a burned in label, thanks to my lightscribe drive. Hopefully soon my friend will get me a real website. I need to develop a photo release form for when I take portraits, so I can put them on my website. Any suggestions on what I need to include? For now, if you're interested, check out
www.artwanted.com/amoredellaphoto for some pictures.
And that's it for nice things. Time to go pop open a brew and watch Righteous Kill. Yay!
