An amazing last day of summer.

This summer has pretty much been awesome. There were some days of boredom. Some days of frustration and stress. But for the most part, I loved this summer. I hung out with my family A LOT, went on lots of awesome trips, hung out with my friends A LOT, spent tons of quality time with Shane, and worked out more than I ever thought was possible. I didn't get all that I should have or intended to get done, but I enjoyed myself immensely.

Today was no different. First of all, I want to say that I am now addicted that song by the Black Eyed Peas called "My Humps." It's so catchy and too funny and has such a great beat to it. We love bass. :)

Anyway, today was amazing. I spent the morning at Shane's just hanging out at his house. Then I came back to my apartment to shower and eat breakfast and get ready for the day. I hate how long it takes me to get ready, seriously. Oh, and I've decided that my hair looks pretty much the same as before. You can always tell once you first dry it yourself, haha.

I also got to talk to Erin, which was awesome. She's coming home in October so I will get to spend some time with her then! I miss her tons!

Shane headed over around 11ish and we hung out here for a little bit... :) and then headed out to Oakbrook mall. First we stopped at both of our banks to take out money, and the car wash to get my car washed because it needed a bath BADLY. It was quite sad. We realized while getting on 88 that we didn't have our I-Pass so I had to pay the ridiculously high toll prices. 80 cents my ass.

We got to Cheesecake Factory around 1 and were seated right away. We took advantage of the mass amount of food choices on their menu. First we ordered the Factory Nachos which are amazing. And we ate the wonderful bread. Mmm. Then came our food - I had a lunch-sized portion of angel hair pasta (still huge, might I add) and Shane got a double BBQ bacon cheeseburger and fries. It was massive.

For dessert... I got carrot cake. It was good, but not nearly as good as their blackout cake. Mmm. And Shane got the brownie sundae cheesecake. We had 5 boxes to bring home with us. We pretty much rock.

Then after we ate, we walked around the mall. We stopped into Sharper Image (played with the iDog again, haha I think I made it work this time though Ash!), The Discovery Channel Store, Bose, Brookstone, A&F, and Burberry before heading back home. It was fun just playing around with things or admiring the overly expensive things that we can't afford. Speaking of which, Abercrombie is getting muy expensive for its lowering quality. Not feelin' it.

Anyway, so then we left and went to Best Buy so I could finally get Shane something for his graduation present. He ended up helping me pay for it - I got him a Sanyo mini fridge/freezer for his room! He loves it! He was so excited and hooked it up right away and loaded it with lots of bottled water. Haha. He showed it off to his parents too.

So then we just kind of hung out in his room for awhile just being stupid and then his friend came over to work on his car, so I left and spent too much money at the grocery store, talked to Jacqueline, ate dinner, and just have been chillin' trying to think of things I need to get done. I really want to re-arrange my apartment, but I don't know if it's too much effort. I'm hoping once Shane gets done working on his friend's car we can go check out the new Lifetime, maybe re-arrange/clean my apartment, and maybe just go for a walk.

I also talked to my parents today on their 29th anniversary! :)

And yes, I didn't forget what day today is. I never will. How could anyone?

Ok, and behind the cut is a picture of me and Ash from the football game last night. I think we look cute! She still has to send me the two pictures she took! Oh, and you can notice how my hair pretty much looks the same.

I am wearing my blue NCC shirt, even though our school colors are red and white. Yeah, I rock.

I will post my schedule tomorrow! Ahh I can't believe my senior year is finally arriving! Scary!
