Eh?
Recall that I posted a link to pictures of my apartment in my last entry. Be sure to go read it and check out the pictures! :) *hint hint*
My day yesterday was again another kick ass day. I spent the morning around the apartment, had lunch, talked to my mom, went and worked out at Lifetime, and came back to the apartment. Jacqueline headed over around 3ish and stayed til around 6ish. She filled me in on all of her stories. It was good times. I hadn't seen Jacqueline since June so I definitely had a lot to be filled in on. :)
Then was Shane and I's re-attempting of our date from Saturday night. I was planning on taking Shane to the grocery store and letting him pick out whatever he wanted for dinner and I would make it for him. Well, as I was changing to go pick up Shane, my brother called me and asked if I had eaten dinner yet. I told him that Shane and I were about to go get something and he offered to get some pizza for all of us to eat. I could tell he wanted to bond, so I agreed and picked up Shane and brought him back here.
We all ate pizza and just chilled and talked for awhile. It was pretty fun. I love my brother. Then after that, Shane and I headed out to Cold Stone downtown Naperville. It was PACKED, but we got what we wanted and then walked around downtown and on the Riverwalk eating our ice cream.
We then booked it to the movie theater to make it into the 9:15 showing of Wedding Crashers. We were able to get seats - again in the front. It was PACKED. That movie is doing so well. Seriously.
Shane loved it. :) And I loved it a second time. It's just such a funny movie. Owen Wilson is one hot mofo. And Vince Vaughn pretty much kicks ass. If you haven't seen the movie yet, you better go soon! :P
So our night went well. It was kinda rushed and not as romantic as I would have liked, but it worked. And I drove, so it didn't totally feel like a date. However, I enjoyed spending time with my Shane, so all is well. :) And he had an amazing first day at work yesterday so that was good too. I love him.
Today I have a stupid dentist appointment at 9:30. Blah. I hate going to the dentist. And I haven't been brushing as well or flossing as much this time around. Last time was the first time I got complimented for how well I was brushing/flossing, but I know they are going to (nicely) yell at me this time. Oh well. What can you do?
The rest of today will be spent running any last minute errands, going to Lifetime, packing, doing laundry, and probably chilling with my brother and then of course, Shane. :P I leave for Canada early tomorrow morning. I don't think my flight is until 10, but it's considered an international flight so I'll have to get there 2 hours early.
I will try and take pictures on my trip, but we'll see how that goes. :P
Ok, if I don't update later today or tomorrow morning... the next time I update will be in a week. I leave tomorrow and get back on the 10th in the evening.
