Ashley's Used Manga Lot - Everything Must Go

Aug 02, 2009 00:35

So in order to raise money for Dragon*Con, I'm selling off most of my Manga collection. When I say most, I mean everything minus three books that are near and dear to me and some artbooks I don't want to sell unless I get extremely desperate.

Here you go kids. I've broken it down into a few categories of what I have. My tastes were mostly shojo, so no Death Note here.

Series
Tokyo Mew Mew #1-7 and Tokyo Mew Mew A La Mode #1 by Mia Ikumi and Reiko Yoshida
-Cute magical girl series about girls who are given the DNA of various endangered species. This is almost complete. Is just missing A La Mode #2.

Fruits Basket #1-7 by Natsuki Takaya
-When I bought the first volume, I got a limited edition run that included a box that fits the first six volumes of the series. If you buy the whole series, I'll send the box as well.

Zodiac PI #1-4 by Natsumi Ando
-Shojo mystery series about a girl who solves crimes by using horoscopes of people involved. Complete series.

Gravitation #1-2 by Maki Murakami
-Infamous music themed shonen-ai. Never got around to reading the second volume however and lost interest.

Pita-Ten #1-4 by Koge-Donbo
-Another cute series about a guardian angel in training. This is half the series.

Tsubasa Resevoir Chronicle #1-5 by CLAMP
-Ongoing series that I followed at the beginning, but have since lost track of.

Corrector Yui #1-2 by Keiko Okamoto
-This series actually went out of print while I was trying to read it. Another magical girl, but
with a digital twist to it.

Sailor Moon #1-7 by Naoko Takeuchi
-Oh man...not only are these out of print, but they are from before Tokyopop was called Tokyopop. Reads from left to right and have some very literal name translations. Volume 1 has penmarks in the back from where I was checking off what volumes I had. SOLD

Saint Tail #1-2 by Megumi Tachikawa
-Another early Tokyopop publication. Sort of a Robin Hood story about a girl magician who steals back things that were stolen. Reads left to right. I think this one has been out of print for a while as well. SOLD

Single Volumes
Fullmetal Alchemist #1 by Hiromu Arakawa
-Really only purchased because I was into the anime at the time.

Angelic Layer #1 by CLAMP
-Shojo action manga that played into the battle toy/monster tropes.

Digi Charat Theater: Piyoko Is Number One! by Koge-Donbo and Others
-Anthology of stories based on Piyoko from Digi Charat

Cardcaptor Sakura #2 by CLAMP
-Early version before the books were re-published from right to left. I do have #1, but it's a bilingual version I don't want to sell.

Galaxy Angel #1 by Kanan
-It's been a while since I've read this one, but from what I remember of that and the episodes I saw of the anime, it's has a bit more plot than the anime.

Excel Saga #3 by Rikdo Koshi
-The manga definitely has more plot than the anime, but not by much.

Steel Angel Kurumi #1 by Kaishaku
-Two words: Fan Service

Anime Related Books
Sailor Moon Sailor Scout Guides (Moon, Mercury and Jupiter)
-Badly translated books that are character guides to the Sailor Senshi in the anime. Actually
describes some episodes not aired in the US and has translations to character songs as well. Reads from left to right and like other Sailor Moon media, it is currently out of print in the US.

Cowboy Bebop Anime Guide #1
-This is sort of a portable Bebop primer. Has introductions to the main characters of the show (minus Ed), an introduction to how the series was created as well as the universe of the series, translation of 'The Real Folk Blues', a play by play of the first five episodes and a black and white art file in the back of the characters in the episodes.

Cardcaptors #1
-This is sort of a picture Manga. It takes still shots from the anime and gives them word bubbles. However, it is Cardcaptors and not Cardcaptor Sakura, so buy at your own risk.

The Official Hamtaro Handbook
-I sort of forgot I had this. Another one of those primer books that has guides for all of the characters on the show, an episode guide, and an extra comic featuring The Helpful Hamsters.

Pricing and Shipping
-Individual Books (R to L): $7 $5
-Individual Books (L to R) and Anime Books: $5 $3
-If you buy more than one book from the same series, I will give a discount. Just drop a comment and let me know what you're interested in.
-Prices on series ARE Negotiable.
-Will accept payment through Paypal or Concealed Cash. I'm so desperate, I'm feeling stupid.
-Right now, I'll probably only ship within North America, but if you live outside of that and are willing to pay some of the shipping costs, drop a comment and we can work something out.

I'm opening this post up for traffic. Thanks guys!
