I am getting married June 20, 2009. It seems so far away but there is so much stuff that needs to get done. Like trying to find a reception hall...thats the most important thing to do. I m letting my parents look around first so they can have an idea of what the cost range might be. So far, we are looking mostly at the Tewksbury country club. Ive never really been a huge fan of the country club kind of scene but this one looks more "barnish". I ve been told that a scene from the sopranos was shot there. It's nice. I really dont care though where we have it as long as I have creative control. lol. Then I guess its a matter of figuring out the guest list. This has been the hardest...150 people...split into two...mostly family on my side and a few friends. Admittedly, I am already getting tired of talking about it. Well not really, its just that their is so much prep that goes into to it. OH but Im really looking forward to the wedding registry at bed bath and beyond...being able to pick out all the stuff we need/want. The wedding showers are going to be sooooo helpful because since we aren't living together beforehand we will need alot of random stuff like a vacuum...towels...cutting boards.
But my main focus now is finding a job-nay-a career! Im college graduate with a degree in Social Work. Thus, this is what I want to pursue. No more rinky dinky human services temp jobs. I want security! and of course health insurance. Thank goodness for Monster.com though! Once I threw together my resume they sent me jobs that seem really interesting and that Im actually qualified for. So yeah I m just bumming around looking for a job and trying to get licensed.
