metanoia..and then some
so the retreat this weekend was awesome.
there were a bunch of people that i didnt really know that well, er, had never really even talked to before, that i got to know.
i really got to do a lot of thinking about the coming year and friends and such.
my priorities...grades, cheerleading, retreat stuff, friends. if boys happen to come along, thats great. but im not gonna go out looking for one.
the main discussion that we had that really got to me was about my grade. the juniors. we are possibly the most pathetic class to ever go through marist. it IS a little teeny bopper movie. there is so much of people not talking to each other just because they arent from the same group or "Social standing". im not referring to everyone, but there are a few people in our grade that just ruin it for everyone else. seriously, being mean to people will get you no where in life. just be nice and be friendly to everyone.
came home. slept for 14 hours yesterday/last night.
today. my dad informed me that if i get a 3.2 this term we will get the car of my choice within reason. the better i do, the better the car.
right now we are leaning towards eclipse, new jeep cherokee, and MAYBE a new bug convertible but the price has to go down.
tonight..the schaubs came over for labor day dinner. it was delish. then we watched the video from lindsay and steves wedding (that i missed because i had to cheer)
