I's still alifes!
Been working extra hard during the break from school. We got in some very nice pieces of amethyst glass. Most of it is highly collectible "Moroccan Amethyst" glassware by Hazel-Atlas, and I've been busy pricing it all and dealing with the questions and layaways and such.
I think this is the prettiest piece.
I don't think it's by Hazel-Atlas, but it's still awfully pretty. If I had a thing for purple, I'd be in such debt right now! I mean...even more than I already am! XD;
Wednesday was my first real day off without any cleaning or other business to attend to, and I spent it just relaxing and doing whatever I wanted. Like beating Rock Band. I finished it on Hard and now I'm working on Expert. I think I'm only up to Chicago, and I have a feeling I won't get much farther because I'm gonna need some more practice. :/
Today I'm here at work on volunteer time. I've just been putting stuff up in the eBay store and helping out with customers; we've had a steady rush of people coming in all day. It's awesome.
We're also celebrating Michelle's birthday today! She's one of our disabled workers. She's going to be 33, but she looks very very young and has the mentality of a seven year-old girl. We all spoil her, and she's pretty much the store princess/mascot. XD We had green enchiladas (her choice), and some cake and banana split ice cream.
Days like this make me feel like I have one of the best jobs in the world.
