Its February already?
im just in one of those really good moods when you cant help but smile. everything (with a few exceptions) is going really well and i love it. so... i just got home from the big college interview. my first one, ever. i wasnt really nervous cuz id been on interviews before for jobs and such, and u cant really prepare for them anyways. i mean, either they like you, or they dont- theres not really much you can do. on the way there i totally jammed to old-school 'nysnc and it was great, hah i forgot how much i loved them. okay so it was at the house of an alumni and i admit i was a little intimidated when i pulled up and he had like a mile long driveway and then the most spectacular million dollar mansion i had ever seen, but it went soo well! we were supposed to only be like an hour or less just so the committee could get an idea of who you are personality wise rather than just what comes through on paper. but yeah... we spent 2 hours talking! hah it was great, we talked about everything from sports, work, clubs, school and my friends to the midwest, the government, the election, church, books we had read, my grandmother, my family, bracelets... pretty much my entire life. if you think about it, its really hard to condense your whole life and everything about you into such a short period of time, but i think i did a decent job of it. he said he hoped that i got in, and that i had the kind of personality that no matter what happened, like where i went to college or even if for some horrible reason i didnt, that i would be successful and flourish in my life and that that was what he was going to try and convey to the admissions committee. i honestly think that it was one of the nicest compliments i have ever gotten. cuz people dont usually compliment you on your personality yunno. its either like how you look, how talented you are at a certain task or something of that sort... but those are only particular aspects of you and your personality is you in ur entirety, so its cool when someone has something nice to say about it.
