I just received a call from my dad telling me that someone died in Afghanistan that had gone to my high school and graduated in 2004.  It turns out that I had class with this man and knew him, although not well.  Most of you know my view on the war and if you don't then it really wont take long for you to figure it out.  My view has been strongly against this war but it is amazing how something like this hitting home makes you that much more angry with the idea of us being over there.  I have had many friends go over there to fight but thank God they all came home safely.  I guess them coming home safely made it seem like everything was alright and I just kept on thinking as long as the people I knew were coming home alive then I was okay.  I am no longer okay.
