First update of the year!
Hey Y'all! This is my first update of the year and there is an awful lot to cover since my last post in 2005!
1)Got all my grades back, not so good... they dropped my GPA so I can no longer apply to the college of ed in January! :(
2) Spent my entire break working and hanging out with Sarah K... can't complain about that quality time with Choy though....what would I do without her!
3) Parents went on a cruise without me, while they were gone my computer crashed (still not fixed I'm home for a few days and I'm playing on my brother's) and my car started to shit out.
4) Had to learn to deal with the fact that I wasn't going to be seeing Bryan everyday, since over break I was in the Nasty and he was in Troy.
NOW LET'S GET TO THE GREATEST STORY EVER EVER EVER!!!!
So, Sarah and I decide to go to the Mac and Nac for New Years Eve! We left at like midnight on Dec 31st (so right has that day had begun). We stopped and got some Taco Bell, then began our trip down to the Nac. It was lightly flurrying until about Flint when it began to snow hard. The roads were a little slippery so we drove slow, following the only other car on the road (a van). After we passed where I-75 and US 23 split we drifted to far to the left and that annoying sound started because we were on the shoulder. So we started to merge back over on to the highway when all of a sudden Sarah lost control of the car and we began to slide until we started to spin, we finally stopped when we were in a ditch! That's right everyone I was in a car, in a ditch! It was an all around good time though, 911 sent 3 police cars... they called a tow truck (because AAA sucks... they were going to make us wait 30 minutes just to talk to a representative!). When the tow truck got there he told us that he couldn't get us out because he didn't have the right hookup and if he were to do it then he would have to block off the whole freeway! So we wait for another tow truck to come with the right hookup (turned out it was just a chain thingy and a guy brought one in his car). So we get all hooked up.... it's already been 2 hours that we've sat in the ditch at this point, and I had to pee super bad......just as the tow truck begins to get us out of the ditch we slide all the way back in again.... luckily we got out and we're fine and the car is fine..... but ya know.... whatever.... it was an interesting way to end 2005!
New Year's Eve was fun.... I drank way too much, but you know it's cool. Hung out with Sarah's family and had a blast... her cousin Paul was hilarious... it was his mission to get everyone wasted.... :)
That's it... oh and I might be leaving Lover's Lane... but I might be working at Family Video! :)
