I'm glad you liked it! Thank you for the sweet comment. :) And yes, I really thought that the Warblers should finally discover just what an awesome and turbulent mess Kurt used to be a part of. Blaine in particular has a lot to learn if he wants to really get him and know who he is instead of the watered down version Dalton's trying to push on Kurt.

And I don't know if I'm going to continue this - it's a Secret Santa gift for someone and it was meant as a finished piece - but I have lots of Kurt/Blaine and general Kurt stuff that I'm working on or am starting to work on so I hope that kind of makes up for it? As much as I love fanon!Dalton, I loooove fics about the canon and how watered down Kurt has been since the transfer. I was grinning like a fool when reading the scenes with New Directions, I just love them and their chaotic universe. Really hope he goes back soon (and brings Blaine along for the ride). Awesome fic!

YESYESYES. I loved fanon Dalton (and still do, to a certain extent) before Special Education came around and squashed everything right off the bat. It was so painful seeing Kurt try to resist and cope with Dalton's suffocating atmosphere. He handled it pretty well, considering the circumstances, but it hurt so much to see him trying not to crumble under all of the pressure to make him lose what is a huge part of Kurt's very essence - his individuality, his spark, his passion and his personality. I can't wait until Kurt returns to McKinley either because that is where he obviously belongs and is loved for what he is. ;)

I really enjoyed how you depicted all of the different character's reactions to Kurt's leaving - nobody was particularly OOC. I also enjoyed seeing the Warblers especially Blaine getting a glimpse of who Kurt was before Dalton with some of the multiple facets of his personality.

While I definitely can see the Warblers being uptight - I don't know they'd be quite that extreme and I didn't quite get how Kurt can go to Dalton and still practice with New Directions. Still I thought it was was very sweet especially Blaine's realizations. In some ways he has been a little cold since Kurt has gone to Dalton (minus that sexy BICO number)

I really enjoyed the ending with Klaine and Kurt realizing just much his McKinley friends care about him :)

Thank you! :) I really feel that the Warblers need to be confronted with the real Kurt and not the demure version Dalton wants to turn him into. Blaine especially seems frustratingly oblivious when it comes to Kurt's personality and individuality, considering they spent a lot of time together when Kurt was still at McKinley. They all need a wake-up call or make it possible for Kurt to transfer back
