It showered!
I had my bridal shower on Sunday. my sister, bridal party and Mom's did such a good job. Everything was so nice! And all the presents! We have the best family and friends anyone could ask for.
Nick is driving home this weekend so we can get those presents up to Rochester.
It's been hard being away from Nick -- and yes, it's only 5 days but it's still not easy. Everyone says "oh it's not that bad, it's only a few days" Do you know what it's like living with someone, waking up with them an going to bed next to them every night for more than a year -- and then not having them there and being in a different place? It's not an easy adjustment but we're doing it. I've only had 1 breakdown/pity party (yesterday) but i'm good now.
I've applied to 2 places in Rochester and applied to MCC to see about getting my certificate for day care/pre-school work. I have a "mini-interview" with the day care right on campus (literally 200 feet from my front door!!) so I'm kinda keeping my fingers crossed for that -- but then the other place is for mentally/physically handicapped kids that I would love to work with. We'll see. I'm sure He's got a plan -- just gotta see what it is. I'll be along for the ride either way :)
we've started to get responses for the wedding! we officially have 34 people coming!! I love getting home and checking the mail!
