Ontario
Well I'm back in Ontario, Forest to be exact. Here for today and tomorrow then I'm back in Ottawa tomorrow night.
I have no clue what has happened to my flying luck, my all my flights have been messed up this vacation. First my flight from Ottawa to Toronto was cancelled at the last minute and i had to scramble to get on to another that wouldn't make me super late getting in. Thank goodness that they were able to put me onto the 5:55 direct Ottawa Vancouver flight. Unfortunately they were unable to gaurentee my baggage would arrive with me. I was lucky in the fact that my luggage got transfered onto the next Ottawa Toronto Toronto Vancouver flight and arrived a few minutes after I did on my direct flight.
Rick woke me up at 4:30am to catch the (no existant) 6am ferry from Swartz bay to Twassassen. Ferry ride was decent, I was able to get some more pictures, unfortuantely I forgot to grab my camera when we got out of the car, and slept for a bit on the ferry, so I was only able to get a few pictures as we were nearing Twassassen. But they are still decent and I'll post them here as soon as I get access to Rick's camera and USB cord. We drove by my grandmothers old place and saw the house that the new owners built. It's actually really nice and this time I was able to get a decent picture of it for my parents. I tried to call my Aunt and see if she wanted to do stuff with Rick and I, cause honestly I would love for Rick to meet my family, since I've met most of his. But she was either sleeping or at work and I'm guessing Robbie was sleeping aswell since no one answered the phone. Next time perhaps.
Yesturday Rick's brother called and let us know that our 3:15 Vancouver Toronto flight was delayed by 2h45m and that there was a flight 45m early that we could try and get on. So I called Air Canada and was able to work out a deal to get on to the 2pm flight with no trouble. It did cut out a trip to Steveston yesturday but that was fine. I can take him there another time that I'm out there. When we arrived in Toronto it took almost 45m to get our luggage after getting off the plane. His sister picked us up and drove straight to Forest. We got in about 1am Ontario time.
I've been up since about 10am Ontario time, which means my body is thinking that it's only 11:30 right now....UGH!
I'm off to get see Rick play soccer today in London, then tomorrow is his Family Pictures/Reunion day. Then I'm home tomorrow and hopefully I'll be able to visit Isabelle and Kianna, if I"m feeling better and this cough and congestion goes away, otherwise I'm going to be sooo disappointed cause as much as this sounds bad, I've missed my weekly visits to help with Kianna.
I'll give everyone a call once I'm back in Ottawa I work like a mad woman this week from tuesday to saturday, my first two shifts back are opens UGH! then I do two closes and a mid shift.
