Victoria!!
I'm in Victoria finally, it's been a long two days, between spending 5 hours at the Ottawa airport and 5 hours in the air, and having to slee on the worlds most uncomfortable bed. I finally got to sleep in a comfortable bed with real sheets and pillows!
On the way to the ferry yesturday, Aunty Val took me and grandma over to see the old/new house..I can honestly say I like what's they've done with the lot...it's looks really nice and not what I was expecting it to look like! They completely re-did the front yard, and tore down the grandma's house and car port and put in a 2 storey house and put a garage in the back lane way!
On to the ferry. Ferry ride over was okay I didn't get sea sick and the ferry didn't sink (bonus!)the ferry however was flipping cold! I should have brought on another hoodie instead of the one I was wearing! The ride into Victoria was decent but since it was at night I couldn't really see anything, however there was this one stretch of highway that had like 20 or more billboards and only along once side of the road!
Rick's apartment is smaller than I imagined, I knew it would be small but not this small, I guess the pictures lied a bit! but still it's nice and big enough so that we won't kill each other when he's working from home for the next couple of weeks.
It was a little cold last night and I absolutely froze, first thing on the list to buy is a nice and warm conforter for the bed! then I'll start with stuff that he neglected to buy.
Well I'm off I think I might do some exploring today! might head downtown or try for a mall...
