Okay seriously. Music has been one of my favorite things, and it's pulled me out of many a stupor in my life. So, chances are I will follow my favorite artists and bands pretty closely, or at least keep in some kind of touch with the music that I like

She's different and interesting and doesn't give a damn about what people think of her, and I like that. I'm just tired of no artists out there being allowed to be just a little bit odd, without having "they're trying to be like Lady Gaga" thrown into the mix. It gets very tiring to hear a lot of artists being compared to her, when that's just the style right now. The 1980's are back in fashion, and if you look back at some of the old video's that used to be on MTV (when they actually still PLAYED videos) people used to dress like this. I mean hell, there's a new video by BoA (a kpop artist) called Hurricane Venus, and she keeps getting compared to Gaga, but if you ask me... she looks more like Janet Jackson or Madonna in her video than anyone else.

But may I ask who? :3 I like anything that's new to me. XD *kind of a music whore*

Sometimes I can't help surfing comments on youtube when I watch videos. That's where I'm getting this comparison BS from, and it's... yes. It's really annoying. I mean, even Miley Cyrus got a comparison for her Can't Be Tamed video. Which is a good song, btw. The body suit reminds me very much of something that used to be worn in the 80's videos, too. XD

Oooh, Placebo. XD There's only one song I've ever really been able to stand from them, and that's because the singer (who I forget his name x.x) sounded perfect for it. His voice grates my nerves. XD

It's because she's not such a desirable person. It comes off in her songs that she's spoiled and bratty, but I like poppy dancy stuff and I just can't resist some of the songs. XD

I like creepy in my music sometimes. Does the writing good once in a while, to have that kind of a mood as backing... just not a fan of the singer's voice. Oh, but! If you like creepy, try out The Birthday Massacre. :3 They're pretty good, and their one song Blue is pretty creepy and awesome.

Eh, maybe it's just that I was raised on horror movies from a young age that I can do that. XD My mom told me once to never eat pizza and watch the hellraiser movies because of the skinless bodies looking like the crust and sauce. I had absolutely no problem in doing it. D: In fact it made me more hungry for my pizza. lol
