I had a really awesome birthday. My parents bought me an I-Pass (with $40 in tolls prepaid, YAY!), my sister got me a neat smashing pumpkins boot cd, my friends got me giftcards (YES!) and Aaron remains the best boyfriend ever. Which Green Day? Which Green Day?

Aren't those iPass things great? The biggest downside being that they randomly check your speed between toll booths, and you can get a ticket in the mail if you are too fast. But if they gave everyone a ticket who sped, no one would use iPass.

The new Green Day, American Idiot. I know it's not the best or anything, but I'd wanted it when it came out and things kept happening to prevent me from having money, so it became this huge joke that I was just NEVER going to buy it...so Aaron took care of it for me :P

IPass is wonderful...luckily I usually just sorta stick with traffic on tollways and have never had a problem with it (I used to borrow my dad's all the time...I think it annoyed him so much that he decided I needed my own). I don't do all that much tollway driving, but Aaron and I go to enough concerts that it'll help out at least.

American Idiot is a pretty underrated Green Day album in my opinion. There are some darn catchy hooks in there, and who would have thought Green Day had it in them to do a concept album? I've been listening to it the last couple of days, but I want a new copy because "Holiday" is scratched on mine.

I've had mine IPass less than a year and already used half the tolls. Will you use it to drive to DeKalb, or will you cruise down Randall to hit Lincoln Highway/IL-38?

Yeah, I really liked it when it came out, but I've downloaded a lot of it so I'm a little tired of it. I'll probably give it a listen later though because I got a bestbuy giftcard and I plan on buying some other cds with it.

I think the way Aaron took me to DeKalb was taking rt 47 to something...probably 38. That's probably the way I'll go since to take 90 is kinda out of the way for me.
