What a night!
We went to the most amazing concert this evening. It's called "Diamonds in the Rough". They are fabulous! We danced in our seats through the whole thing. It was such great fun.
I should probably explain that the Diamond Learning Center works with special needs people of varying functionality and age. Most of the diamonds are Down's. But they have all kinds of range. One of my bosses has a son who is blind and mentally challenged. He's in his early twenties. And could that boy put Louis Armstrong to shame.
It was a marvelous night and we'll be going every year from now on. What a treat!
