(no subject)
Tomorrow is finally Friday! Yes! Yesterday, the cutest thing happened and when I told Elise, she practically died!
So yesterday around 4:00pm, my mom comes in my room and is like, "Can you go get the mail." I was thinking to myself at first, why, dad always gets the mail before he leaves the house and I saw it on the table when I got home from school. So I'm like, "There is NO mail, dad already got it and it's on the table." So we had a little argument about getting the mail until she was like.."JUST GO!!" So I went. I get to the mailbox and I open it and my first reaction was, "OMG"! There was a big bouquest of roses in there with a little note attached to it that said, "Karen, will you go to Homecoming with me?" For the past couple of weeks I've been getting these random little notes saying, "Homecoming?" and stuff like that. So I run back into tbe house and like set the roses down and like sit there..stumped. My mom's all, "ohh, I told you you'd want to go get the mail!" So I gave up trying to figure out who it was and just went back to my room. So i'm walking to my room and I walk in and my reaction again was, "OMG!" There was Roland, standing on one knee with a rose in his hand and was like, "Karen, will you go to homecoming with me?" and I was so shocked because I didn't see his car outside and had no clue he was there. It was so cute!!! I had NO clue it was him too. Jill, Jules, Chris and CJ all told me they've none about this for weeks and i was like.."WHAT..and you didn't spill anything to me." I told Elise and everything and she was like freaking out cause she thought it was the cutest ever. I loved it. Then Elise and I started talking about how we just need to find ourselves a date to our HC and she's all, "Bring him." But it was too late. I asked him, but another girl from Eastlake asked him to go to her HC already and it's on the same day. So that was the only sad part about the whole surprise. But I'm still happy! Really got my mind off of a certain someone.
So, MIHS HC shall be fun! And now I just have to find a date to OUR HC! I went *solo* last year, not really cause I was going out with Walker...but still I didn't have an actual date with me, just a corsage from him. But it'd still be nice to have someone this year...but i don't think that'll be happening. *sigh* But i know it'll still be some-what fun.
