[He hears the voice come from the odd screen and jumps back, surprised. His expression changes to one of concern.

He bows.] Hello. I've been kidnapped...? By who?

[ pause. he's just a little kid, isn't he? give her a sec, she'll turn on video. ]

A detective! Sokka's a detective, kind of. Do you have a pipe? Or a hat? He said that helped. His hat usually had a looking glass on it, though. [Another wide grin!] It was pretty cool.

I do have a hat; however, both a pipe and looking glass would only get in the way. [ despite her formal language, she's smiling slightly. ]

This "Sokka" sounds interesting, though.

Oh, Sokka's great! [More grinning! Goodness, he's happy.] He's a really funny guy. And a pretty good detective!

It's a pity I doubt I'll have the chance to meet him. [ hate to crush your happiness, but it is Naoto we're dealing with. ]

Have you found a place to stay? I'm afraid you'll be trapped here for a while, and there has been an increase in assaults lately.

Yet again, I'm afraid I don't have enough information. However, two people have been attacked in the past few days, one of which was killed. Thankfully, death is not permanent here, so she revived within a day.

[ she's deliberating for a second... He's young. But she totally understands the sentiment (she's not waaaaaaay older). It wasn't too long ago when she began helping her Grandfather out as a detective. ]

Fine. I'll speak to Commander Ivanova as soon as possible about you joining our Neighborhood Watch. However, before that, I'll need to know what you're capable of. Merely saying to stopped a war does not mean you have the abilities to prevent crime.
