Author's Comment:…….Again, not sure.

“Now you need to listen to me, both of you,” Uruha took her face in his hands. “This is going to be shocking and overwhelming but remember, you agreed to it.”
Sora’s face turned stern and she nodded.
 “I understand.”
“Once you have it, I can’t take it back. It’s yours for life or until you give it away which you won’t be able to do for a while.” His eyes were full of so many emotions it made her wonder if this was right or not.
“What will happen to you?” Aoi’s voice came from beside Sora.
“The Rogue abilities will set in. I no longer have a need for the ones I’m giving you while they still linger.” Uruha responded, closing his eyes. “Sora, are you ready?”
Her brother clasped her hand tightly.
 “I am.”
When Uruha opened his eyes, they were a brilliant, burning gold. She instantly felt a sharp tug in the back of her mind that soon turned into a tear. Sora’s free hand clutched at Uruha’s, trying to get them off her face anyway she could.
 Then the voices began.
 Is she okay?
What should we do for dinner…?
 God, this movie sucks.
I am totally kicking his ass!
They were all different, unique tones, different sounds, different all over. It was like she was tuned into every mind within a ten mile radius. Suddenly, colors and emotions flew through her mind’s eye at what felt like one hundred miles an hour.
You’re okay, Sora. Calm down. It is alarming, at first but you’ll grow used to it. Uruha’s voice was louder than the others, drowning the screaming and volume. Those golden eyes dulled and finally darkened back to the normal sepia color.
 “…..Sora?”
I hate taking the dog out. This is a horrible chore.
He’s cheating on me?! I’m calling the divorce lawyer now!
Gold or silver? Huh. I don’t know what one she would like best.
She realized she was on the ground, lying on her side and Aoi leaning over her worriedly. Sora forced her lungs to expand, taking a much needed breath in. Her mind had gotten so wrapped up in the new function that it forgot to do necessary tasks. Her heart was beating rapidly and she could feel the pulse in her wrists and neck.
I don’t like her new boyfriend at all.
He’s really not such a bad guy. Uh oh. Mom’s giving him that stare.
 I wonder if Sora’s okay.
At the mere mention of her name, her mind grabbed at that thought, bringing her into their mind.
 Ruki.
Dark pictures swarmed her head. Distress and anger were present in his mind and she had the feeling they had been for a while. Her face was in his head, remembering the time she was leaving to go to the school dance. Jealousy was attached to the memory, as was sorrow.
 “Ugh. Ruki……sorry.”
“She speaks!” Aoi pulled her up to his chest, crushing her against him like a child would a puppy. Her head was a bit clearer now that she was focusing onto one mind rather than opening it up to any. Sora moved her focus to a bold color just out of her line of sight. She pulled her head up only to grin, widely.
“Nii-san….is your hair…..purple?” As soon as the color came out of her mouth, it shifted to the palest gold then back to black.
“Why yes. Yes, it is. But it doesn’t matter now. Are you okay? Uruha told me your heart stopped for a few seconds.” Sora threw her gaze to the fallen angel sitting on the bed gazing blankly at his trembling hands.
“I’m fine. But they’re not.” The combination of the pain coming from Uruha and the rage from Ruki caused her world to blur at the edges.
 “….They’re?”
 “Uruha. And Ruki.”
“Uruha I can understand. But Ruki?” Aoi looked down at her, curiosity in his eyes.
 “Let go.”
 “Why?”
“Let go of me.” He complied and she stood up with shaky legs. “Take care of Uruha while I’m gone.”
“Gone?” Sora ignored her brother and took careful steps to the doorway and paused.
“It’s necessary for her.” Uruha’s voice was quiet though serious. “She has a lot of sympathy now. It comes with the power. My guess is that she caught a thought that got her attention and that person’s in some trouble mentally.”
“Ru.” His nickname fell out of Aoi’s mouth easily.
 “He’s so hurt.” She whispered.
 “Sora-”
“Let her go.” Uruha won. Aoi dropped his outstretched hand and his eyes turned silvery.
“Be careful. He’s like a shaken soda bottle. A simple sentence can cause him to explode.” He warned.
 “Love you, nii-san.” Sora murmured.
 “Be home by midnight, please.”
 She disappeared out of view.

A/N: I don't make it very clear in here, but Aoi was given the ability to alter his features slightly. Not drastically. This is just an experimental one shot. Nothing serious and permanent.
