About me.
Well, I am a 21-year old student at Acadia University in Nova Scotia, Canada. I plan to graduate May 9, 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts in History & English. I became a History and English major because I was good at reading and writing papers, and I decided a performance degree in music was impractical, and something like music-ed was thankless. I play clarinet, sax, a little piano--well, used to. Someday I will play again, but not while I have more pressing matters like this degree. In keeping with my practicality, I have applied to various Bachelor of Education programs to complete my quest for a career of some fashion. But I can always fall back on???if I don't get in...
I have a wonderful boyfriend who is also graduating in May 2004, but with a degree in Physics and Math (pretty well the polar opposite to what I am doing...) I don't ramble about him too much though. In my past online journal experiences I have focussed on angst and humor. My current relationship is sometimes the only thing I think is "normal" in my life.
In these journals, I also like to randomly "but gravity always wins....." songs that are stuck in my head. Yay for random quotings.

Movie? Sleepers starring Robert Deniro, Brad Pitt. Very chilling.
Book? Er, The Bell Jar probably tops the list.
Song? "My Immortal" by Evanacense (sp?)
Band? Still, after almost seven years, the Smashing Pumpkins.
Drink? Red wine, coffee, water
Fruit? Pineapple
Flavour Chips? Plain ruffles
TV Show? Law & Order (any of the three series)

Article of Clothing? Comfy oversized t-shirts, cozy sweatshirts
What should I be doing right now? Writing a paper on the demographics of soldiers in the Vietnam War. Huh.
