First of all, it is the most wonderful news (almost) ever to have this thing finally coming out. This thing being the toronto SARS concert dvd. I am rejoicing and was being a total spaz running around my house in the middle of the night. Now before i start bitching and make myself sound extremly ungrateful, take a look at the line up and judge it yourself. (keep in mind that everyone played partial sets except for AC/DC and the Stones. (The sets basically got bigger as the day went on.)
On July 30, 2003 close to half a million people gathered in Toronto for one of the most spectacular concerts of all time. It was the largest ticketed single day event in history. The Rolling Stones headlined the show which also featured 13 other acts, including AC/DC, Rush, The Guess Who and Justin Timberlake. Now you can experience this remarkable concert on DVD - just in time for Canada Day

now i will be evil and say that they had better have put the footage of kathleen daniel and i on there, because it would totally more than make up for the fact that who ever decided what songs to put on the dvd should DIE.
Rush has a song more than AC/DC, rush did a half set, AC/DC did a whole show. There are more Sass Jordan songs on there too. In my opinion she shouldve been cut from the dvd, justin timberlake was more enjoyable. Her voice was all screetchy and her sound system was way too loud. I would like to say WHERE THE FUCK IS BROWN SUGAR?
and how about "no sugar tonight" from the guess who. They did a bang up job on that, but no. And american woman, might i add, is a good song but was mainly ruined for me because of the lenny kravitz bastardized version. OH!! CLOSER TO THE HEART?!?!?!?! that is like the best rush song ever, i dont really listen to rush so i have no right to say that but i will anyway. It shouldve been on there too. I hope theres footage of people dropping like flies too. ok, now that im finished being a total whore, i will end with,
something....some...thing.
YAY *shake twitch*
its coming
