Welp, there's a new Decemberists album due out in early October. I've heard it and I thoroughly recommend it. The band "Girls in Hawaii" is good, as well as "Mates of State" and "Tegan and Sara".

I was thinking to myself that I ought to make a post to see whether or not you were still alive and, if so, how that was going for you. Luckily for me, you totally already made that post. I no longer need to wonder about what it is that you've been up to.

As for folkish things that I've been listening to lately, I'd have to go with the newest Greg Graffin album, "Cold as the Clay." I dig it.
