Happy September!
I know its getting towards the end of the month and I haven't said that to anybody but I definitely feel it. This is my favorite month because it leads into my favorite season, autumn. As seasons change, people change. Its fascinating to watch people change. Into different, warmer clothes, into different moods, into different personalities...and it makes me want to change. To be more awake. To feel safe in my own skin. To feel whole. Autumn is home for me.
There's certainly something different in the air. The mornings and late evenings have been chillier in the past couple of weeks. Last night I was wrapped up tight in my blanket in the living room while reading my book. It was inviting, the cold, and I welcomed it because I missed it. It has always been a friend and a catalyst for transformation and self revelations. A reminder.
Lately I have been enjoying my mornings by sitting outside on the balcony with a hot mug of coffee. The view of San Diego bay has been comforting lately and I can look at forever without a single thought.
My favorite time has been the mornings because they are calm yet there is so much energy. Many mornings of stimulating talks, laughter, and smirks. I love my mornings. If only I had more time in the mornings to stay...
