Oh Goodness
Okay so I’ve started classes and all that fun stuff. I needed 12 books this semester (ack!!!). My classes seem pretty good, there’s only a couple that seem really boring so I’m excited (kind of).
I’m officially going to be transferring to the Applebee’s in Portland on Monday, they actually want me to start on Monday which is neat because usually you have to go through orientation and a little bit of training, but I guess they really liked me and the people that I met seemed really nice.
My car broke down on Tuesday! The alternator was gone I guess and it sucked all the life out of my battery. So I was stuck in Portland for a while. It got fixed today, paid $160 for that, which isn’t a lot for people who aren’t poor, but unfortunately I’m poor. But I guess it is fixed now even though my check engine light won’t turn off and every time I step on the gas my car shakes and rattles. As long as it runs I guess I don’t care.
Officially moved into my new apartment with Mary. There are some things that need to be fixed and such but all seems to be going well for us. I went shopping for stuff one night and spent $242 on things for the place. Then I went grocery shopping and spent $240 and that was just for the basics. I’m running out of money and I’m running out of it fast. It sucks.
I have to go down to Massachusetts this weekend for a wedding and to finish up my last day of work at Applebee’s in Seabrook. At least I will be able to see people and say my last good byes, seeing as how I don’t think that I will be having extra time to go down there anymore.
