my trip
My trip was alright. Parts of it was pretty cool, and other were kind of sucky.
The good parts:
-I got to say hi to my friends
-The rides were awesome. They had this thingy that spun around and while it was spinning off the ground, you could spin the wheel and make it go in circles, it was so much fun. The others had weak stomachs, and wanted me to stop spinnin it, but i wanted to see how fast it would go. Then me and josh done the bungie run, that was cool, but of course he won. Then i climbed the thirty five foot rock, and made it all but to the top and then i fell.
-We went shopping and i got a cover for my cell phone that is just too cute. And i got a braclet, some earrings, and a shirt.
-They had jugglers to perform for us, and that was pretty awesome, kind of boring after about an hour, but they were cool.
-The people from burlington decided to adopt a little boy from kenya, east africa. He's adorable, he has a sickness(i dont know what it is though), both of his parents died when he was young, he lives with his uncle, and has two siblings, and his name is samwell. I am excited about getting our mission started and becoming his penpal.
The bad parts:
-The music SUCKED! There is normally this group of african singers that sing and they weren't performing. it was kind of sad because it is like tradition and i LOVE them, and i will be writing a letter to DHQ about my complaint! They had this sucky moderate rock band that sung song i didnt even know. Would you prefer sucky moderate rock songs that you don't know, or a hip hop african oriented vibe with songs that are awesome and you know? Thats what i thought
-We stayed off campus which means i didnt get to spend much time with my friends.
-I didnt get to say goodbye to half of my friends and give a few people my number to call me.
-Everybody is such party poopers, i couldnt get anybody to stay up with me, they all konked out at like one, and i am like what the freak, we normally stay up til like four. Plus saturday night, we missed the karoke because people wanted to go to bed. So we headed back to the hotel around nine thirty.
Overall it was ok. There are a lot of things i would have changed and a lot of things that i wouldnt dare think about changing. well i just thought that i would tell everyone how my trip went. cya at school tomorrow.
